Local
English as a Second Language (ESL)
Join us as we develop relationships with friends from many nations. Opportunities to serve include: ESL teachers, helpers, childcare, hospitality and online classes. ESL classes meet Thursdays from 9:30-11:30 a.m. and 6:30-8:30 p.m. We also offer ESL Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays and Learn English Through the Bible and Citizenship Classes on Wednesdays from 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Mixtec Church Ministry
We have two opportunities in Montgomery to reach this indigenous group from Southern Mexico. The first opportunity is on the second Sunday of each month. We provide a meal and children's activities. The second opportunity to serve in with Mixtec VBS on Sunday evenings in June. Contact the Missions Office to serve.
Food Drive
Serve with Community of Hope in south Montgomery through their twice monthly food drive. Volunteers are needed for evangelism, prayer and food distribution. The food drive is weekly during morning hours.
National
New York: Jackson Heights Community Church
This mission is May 17-24, 2025. On this mission, Adult ESL (English as a Second Language) volunteers will lead two ESL CAMPS at the South Asia Community Center. The cost is $500. The deadline to apply is December 1, 2024. The interest meeting is November 3 at 4:00 pm.
Southeast Alaska: Liberty Church
This mission is June 6-17, 2025. We will serve with Liberty Church, Craig in an outreach ministry to other churches. Ministry will include outreach events, children's ministry and student ministry. Families are welcome! The cost is $1,200. The deadline to apply is December 8, 2024. The interest meeting is November 17, 2024.
Whitefish, Montana
We will drive cross-country and be part of VBS and outreach ministry through FBCP partner, Summit Life Church. This is a great family mission! This mission is July 17-30, 2025. The cost is $200 + travel meals. The deadline to apply is January 5, 2025. The interest meeting is December 1 at 4:00 p.m.
Las Vegas, Nevada
We will partner with Jack and Kayla Diven. This team will help with outreach events and encouragement for this new church plant. The cost is $750. The trip will be in September 2025. An interest meeting and application deadline has not been set. Contact the missions office if interested.
Global
South Asia
The team will train church planters and gospel workers. Space is limited. The Cost is $1,200. This mission is January 29-February 11, 2025. The deadline to apply is November 3, 2024 and the interest meeting is October 6 at 4:00 p.m.
Guatemala (Student Ministries)
Students 9th-11th grade will have the opportunity to serve a variety of people and age groups through this mission. The team will help with children’s ministry events, outreach opportunities, nursing home ministry and ministry training. The mission will be March 22-29, 2025. The deadline to apply is August 21. Brazil: Manaus and Amazon River Ministry
(Two Groups)
Casa Radical, Manaus - This group will work in Manaus to do evangelism, children's ministry and an ESL camp with a new church plant.
Amazon Hope River Ministry - This group will travel by riverboat to work in villagers along the Amazon River. We will partner with local churches to do door-to-door evangelism, children's ministry and leadership training for local pastors.
This mission will be April 18-26, 2025. The interest meeting is October 20, 4:00 p.m. The deadline to apply is November 17, 2024. The Cost is $1,200.
Guatemala (Medical)
Volunteer physicians, nurses and pharmacists will work alongside local churches to provide care at a temporary clinic in a rural area. Volunteers are also needed to assist with registration and evangelism at the clinics. For updates and to participate, contact the missions office.
Scotland
We will partner with church planter John McKinnon and Calderwood Baptist Church to launch a new church plant in East Kilbride, in the greater Glasgow area. We will lead a Holiday Club (VBS) for children, which will kick off weekly Children's Club meetings (Sunday School).
*Team members must be in good physical condition for prayer walking and outreach.
The mission is June 27-July 8, 2025. The cost is $1,500. The interest meeting is November 6 at 7:15 p.m. The deadline to apply is December 1.
Puerto Rico (Student Ministry)
This mission is for 11th and 12th grade students and includes light construction and evangelism projects. The mission is July 12-18, 2025. The deadline to apply is November 6.
Southeast Asia
This team will lead a businessman's conference, ESL camp and women's ministry. Space is limited. The mission will be in September 2025 with a cost of $1,500. The interest meeting is January 19 at 4:00 p.m. The deadline to apply is February 23, 2025.
Passport costs, Visa fees and travel vaccinations are not included in the trip price. Some trip space is limited. Where space is available, non-FBCP members will pay an additional cost.
