Children's Ministry Director
Children’s Ministry at First Baptist Prattville is vibrant, healthy and growing with Jesus at the center of all we do. This ministry works with approximately 170 families and approximately 240 children covering first through sixth grade. Children’s Ministry is a highly involved ministry with grade-level Sunday School classes, Midweek (Wednesday nights) large and small groups, Vacation Bible School, CentriKid Summer Camp, and special events throughout the year. The most important aspect of this ministry is leading children to Christ. Over the past year, 39 children have participated in the His Kids new member class resulting in 18 baptisms.
The ministry is also vitally important to parents and guardians in providing support, education and encouragement to be the primary disciple-makers of children in their home.
We are currently receiving interest applications for a Children’s Ministry Director who is deeply committed to the Lord and loves leading children in the way of Christ. We desire a person who will continue building upon the strong foundation in place and who has a passion to equip families and leaders to do the work of ministry.
