Great Adventure Club: Mondays during school year, 3:45 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Help us share the good news of Jesus in the public schools! We meet Monday afternoons at Prattville Elementary School. Help us lead children to a growing faith in Christ through Bible stories, music and games!

ESL Ministry (English as a Second Language): Various times

Join us as we develop relationships with friends from various nations. Opportunities to serve include: ESL teachers, hospitality and childcare. ESL classes meet Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. We also offer ESL BIble Study (Wednesdays, 9:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.), ESL Sunday School (9:30 a.m.) and Citizenship Classes!

Community of HOPE: June 2020

Partnering with the Montgomery Baptist Association, you can reach out to this indigenous people group from Mexico now living in Montgomery. We have two ministry opportunities.

  1. Community of HOPE VBS: June 17 - 20, 2020 (9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.)
  2. MIXTEC Church VBS: June 2020 on Sunday evenings (4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.)

ESL Mission Trip (Queens, New York): April 18 - 25, 2020

Sign up for an international missions opportunity in one of the most culturally diverse neighborhoods in the United States! Teach ESL (English as a Second Language) at the South Asian Community Center in Jackson Heights, Queens. Cost: $400 plus airfare (covers lodging and meals). Deadline to apply: January 15, 2020

Builders for Christ (United States): May 18 - 22, 2020

This annual building projects is for a new worship facility at a Southern Baptist Church in the United States. Two different team generally travel from our church. Approximate cost: $400-500. Deadline to apply: April 15, 2020

Family Mission Trip (Atlanta): June 10 - 13, 2020

Atlanta's International Village is home to people from 145 countries speaking 761 languages. We will lead Backyard Bible Clubs and share Christ with people from many cultures! Open to participants of all ages. Cost: $75 (covers lodging in a host church and most meals). Deadline to apply: April 1, 2020

Leadership Training (Whitefish, Montana): July 16 - 28, 2020

Working with a church planter from Alabama, we will train a team on ministering to children and how to conduct a Vacation Bible School event. For training purposes, participants must have a minimum of five years experience as a VBS Leader. Spots are limited. Cost: $400 plus travel meals (air travel is an option for additional costs). Deadline to apply: November 3, 2019

Haiti Mission Trip: December 28 - January 3, 2020

Partnering with Children's Hope Orphanage in Jacmel, we will join with local churches to do VBS. We will stay in the Alabama House on their campus. Cost: $1,600 (passport fees and immunizations not included). Deadline to apply: September 8, 2019

South Asia: February 1 - 11, 2020

Leadership training. Space is limited. Deadline to apply: September 15, 2019

Youth Mission Trip (Guatemala): March 21 - 28, 2020

Students from grades 10th - 12th apply in August each year and then prepare monthly until the trip. Cost: $1,650 per person (covers airfare, ground travel, hotel and all meals in country).

Southeast Asia: September 2020

Project development in unreached areas. Space is limited. Deadline to apply: January 15, 2020

Glasgow, Scotland: June 27 - July 7, 2020

Join us as we minister through ESL camp with refugees, lead VBS and offer leadership training in this post-Christian culture. Cost: $2,600. Deadline to apply: November 3, 2019

Amazon River Ministry (Brazil): October 2020

Partnering with Amazon Hope, we will travel by riverboat to work in villages along the Amazon River. We will offer children's activities, meet medical/dental needs and use other evangelistic approaches. Cost: $1,000 plus airfare (Covers cabin space and all meals on the boat. Passport fees, Visa fees and immunizations not included.). Deadline to apply: April 1, 2020

Tithes: A portion of each dollar given supports missions through the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention.
Offerings: We have four special offerings each year.
  • Lottie Moon Christmas Offering (supports international missions)
  • Annie Armstrong Easter Offering (supports North American missions)
  • Myers-Mallory State Missions Offering (supports disaster relief and Alabama missions causes)
  • SEND Offering (supports FBC children attending camp, students on choir tour and various FBC mission trips)
