Our traditional service begins at 9:30 a.m. and is a blend of traditional hymns and praise songs. Accompanied by a full choir, orchestra and soloists, you will most likely recognize the great faith hymns we sing. We believe singing songs based on Scripture is an excellent way of remembering God's promises. Come worship with us just as you are!
Our contemporary service starts at 11:00 a.m. and features a praise band. The band does a variety of mainstream worship songs and updated hymns. There's a mix of ages and backgrounds, and this service, too, focuses on bringing the truths of Scripture into worship. Again, come as you are! We want you to worship with us.
We do several special programs each year involving the entire worship ministry. Each December, we will present a Christmas program that combines the choir, orchestra, and praise band to present a beautiful telling of Christ's birth. The worship ministry will also do a spring program that brings the entire worship ministry together. Our worship events are free, and we welcome the public!
Get plugged into our worship ministries. We'd love for you to take part! If any of these areas interest you, be sure to let or know.
The adult choir sings during the 9:30 a.m. traditional service and practices Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. They also perform a Christmas and spring program each year. Contact Mitch Loftin to serve!
If you have gifts in music and playing instruments, we'd love to have you in our accompaniment. The orchestra assists in the traditional services and special programs. They, too, practice on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. Contact Mitch Loftin to get involved.
The praise band leads worship for the 11:00 a.m. contemporary service and participates in all special worship programming. The band rotates vocals and accompaniment each week. If you'd like to try out, let Carter Reeves know.
From lights and sounds to putting words on the worship screens, this ministry area is an exciting place to serve. Training is provided before you start. Talk to Carter Reeves about serving.
We have Junior and Senior High choirs, as well as Children and Preschool choirs.
The student choirs practice on Sundays during the school year from 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. and occasionally sing in the worship services. Each year, both choirs will do a mission tour. Usually, the Junior High choir takes a mission tour during Spring break. The Senior High choir tour is generally in June. Preparation is key for these choir tours to be successful, thus, we provide discounts for the tours for either perfect rehearsal attendance or high attendance (no more than three absences).
The children and preschool choirs meet weekly (Wednesdays, 5:45 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.) through Music and Missions and perform Christmas and Spring programs yearly.
